High School Youth Group

Our Mission: To lead high school students to full devotion to Jesus Christ.
Our Vision: To be a ministry where high school students minister to each other, to your church family, and your neighbors in the community.
The High School Youth Group meets on the first and second Sunday of every month, September through May, from 5:00 pm-6:30 pm.
First Sunday - Small Groups at leaders' Homes
Second Sunday - Large group at Church in the Youth Group Room

Lesson 1- Why most people suck at following Jesus

Are you admiring Jesus or following Him? Have you ever considered the difference? Today, we are going to unpack four foundational elements of Jesus' way of life and see more of what He has invited us into.

Lesson 2- Why do I do what I do?

Your view of you drives everything you do. How can we learn to see God more fully and ourselves more truly? How can a real change of perspective happen? Tune into this message to hear about the incredible power available to us because of Jesus.

Lesson 3- Do you know where you’re going?

When Jesus calls you, how will you respond? Will you say yes to His invitation to know and follow Him? James unpacks what that looks like through the lens of the first disciples in this week's message.

Lesson 4- Staying in the Game

Have you found yourself wanting to follow Jesus, but frustrated that you keep getting off track? In this message, Connor talks about how to combat distraction and give our full attention to what matters most.

Lesson 5 - The power you didn’t know you had

Have you ever thought that being a Christian would be so much easier if it was just you and Jesus? What does it look like to follow Jesus and have the right relationships with other people? What you need to know is that Jesus is on a mission to set people free, and He's inviting you to join Him.

Lesson 6 - The one thing that’s worth everything

Jesus is inviting us to go all in on the adventure that is following Him, but sometimes, we choose to return to what's comfortable instead. What would it look like to be sold out for Jesus? What would you gain? What would you leave behind? Let's process these questions together!

Lesson 7 - Jesus’ answer to what matters most

What matters most to you? Would that be Jesus' answer, too? In this message, we discover what Jesus said was most important, learn how to line our lives up with His, and consider the cost of missing what matters most.
